Reserve a Library Room

Semester classes are scheduled through the Registrar's Office.  At the beginning of a semester, reservations must be cleared with the registrar's office if a room is desired during a time when a class might need it. 

Requests to schedule other one time uses, outside of classes can be done by contacting any library staff member, Plant Operations call (573) 592-5282 (ext. 5282), email Reeves.Library or email Room.Reservations.

Special Purpose Rooms

The library houses several special rooms. In the Hazel Wing, Room 112 seats 42 and is equipped for multimedia presentations.  On the third floor of the Hazel Wing, Room 311 seats 30 and can be set up for distance learning or hosting a remote speaker.  The Instructional Development Studio (IDS)/Skype Lab (LIB 107), houses two Skype stations and several computers for special business and language software.  Fifteen to eighteen MacIntosh computers are available in Hazel 101.  Eighteen to twenty-four PC computers are available in Hazel 102.  The Brookby Group Study Room (LIB 304) seats 6-8 and the Robinette Room (Hazel 309) seats 6 people.

We also have several CD, and DVD collections. Facilities for individual or group listening/viewing are provided in the library.

View Room Scheduling

If you want to find out if a certain room or lab is available for a given date and time, you may view the schedules of many locations using the Schedule feature in Microsoft Outlook.

First, from the main Inbox window, go to "File" and select "Open." Then select "Other User's Folder". Make sure the bottom drop down window is on "Calendar". Click on "Name", type in the first few letters of the room you want, select the appropriate room, and click " OK " You will be able to view locations such as HAC Hermann Lounge, HAC McFarland, Hazel-101 (Mac lab), Hazel-102 (PC lab), Hazel-112, Hazel-311, Hazel-Robinette (Hazel 309) and LIB-304Brookby (Group Study) . Note: Typically there is no space between the abbreviation of the building name or room name and number (but it is not always true).
